Due to bad winter weather, comics for next week will be delayed. According to Diamond, next weeks comics will arrive in store at the earliest on the 24th. So expect that we’ll be able to have comics out for sale in the late afternoon on the 24th at the earliest. We’ll be updating all social media as we know more.
Also, this delay won’t affect DC books, because they’re distributed through Lunar.
As usual, the store will be closed on January 1st, New Year’s Day, to give our staff a small, well-deserved break. Business hours return to normal on Saturday, January 2nd. We hope everyone has a happy and safe new year, and we hope our store helped keep you entertained in 2020. We’ll be happy to keep doing do in 2021!
Our 18th stream sale will be this Tuesday from 4 to 6 pm. As always, this will be a curated list of back issues, variants, trade paperbacks, collectibles, and other cool stuff hand selected by Wayne. You can find more info or sign up for the livestream here.
This week, there are only three stores in the state where you can get exclusive Batman Catwoman covers, and Time Warp is one of them. Along with our good friends at I Want More Comics and Hall of Justice, we’re holding on to copies of the coolest covers you can add to your collection this week. Be there or be square!
Time warp will be closed tomorrow, 11/29, because of an unexpected shortage of staff. We should reopen for regular business on Monday. Everyone have a good weekend, and we hope to see you soon.
Winter is coming. For some people that means celebrations, gifts, and warm fireplaces. For others, it means one of the coldest, hardest times of the year.
Here at Time Warp, we count ourselves lucky that we’re able to support charities that ease the burden on folks a bit. We’re a drop off point for the 4th Annual Cosplay Toy & Food Drive. There’s an Event if you’re comfortable meeting up in person, but if you can’t or shouldn’t then we’re more than happy to take donations on their behalf. We can also do socially distanced car drop off if you’re not comfortable coming in the store. Just call us at 303-443-4500 and leave your donations outside your car in the Time Warp parking lot and we’ll come out and pick them up for you.
Charitable giving has been at the same time both much more necessary and much harder this year. Homelessness, joblessness, and food insecurity are real threats for a great many more people, the mass action needed to provide aid are harder than ever, and those already in need find themselves in the awful position where seeking out shelter or support can be dangerous on its own. Do what you can, when you can.

Hello everyone,
What with the weather, our shipment from Diamond has been delayed. At present, we don’t know when we’ll be able to process the new comics from that shipment and get them ready to sell. We’ll update all of our social media channels and this post when we have more information to share with you. We’re sorry for the inconvenience but we’ll have everything ready as soon as we possibly can.
However, we received our shipment of new DC comics in time, and those will be available as normal tomorrow/Wednesday!

Time Warp’s bi-weekly stream sale is set for tonight, October 6th, on Facebook, starting at 4 PM and ending around 6 PM. If you’re not aware, we’ve been selling cool comics and various unique items on these streams for a few months now, and they’ve been great fun. Wayne promises some special surprises tonight, so we welcome everyone to tune in, pick up some neat stuff, and have some fun in the chat. September is a celebratory month for us here at the store–not only is Wayne’s birthday coming up, but so is Time Warp’s 36th anniversary! The proper day of the 36th anniversary is at the end of the month on the 29th, but we’re taking the whole month to celebrate!

On Saturday, July 4th, Time Warp will have reduced hours. We will be open from 12 PM to 4 PM. Sorry for the inconvenience, and we hope everyone remains safe out there.
With stay at home orders ending across the country, it’s important to us that everyone know what the current situation is at Time Warp. We’ve received dozens of calls and emails asking for information, so here’s the stuff you need to know:
Time Warp’s hours are normal hours for the foreseeable future. That’s 10am-7pm on Tuesday through Friday, 10am-6pm on Saturday and Monday, and 11am-6pm on Sunday.
Time Warp is open to the public for anyone willing to wear a mask and observe social distancing in store. Masks and distancing are a Boulder city ordinance, so we can’t let you in store without a mask.
We disinfect all surfaces regularly handled by customers or staff in the store. That includes counters, door handles, pens, keyboards, mice, and sink handles. When you’re signing a receipt, there’s a bin of disinfected pens and a bin of used pens.
Car pickup and shipping are still options for anyone uncomfortable with or unable to come in to the store.
New comics are shipping out from all publishers now. Release dates have been delayed and adjusted, so ask if you don’t know when something you care about is coming out. We’ll be posting a list of upcoming comics on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Previews are available again. Marvel has switched back to being in the main previews catalog, and DC has gone digital only. Here is a link to DC previews on PreviewsWorld.com

Hello, folks. Given Boulder’s stay at home order that takes effect this evening, we will be opening at 10 AM and close at 5 PM. This Wednesday’s new comics are available for sale today. More information is forthcoming. Keep your eyes on our website, our social media channels, and, if you’re a file holder, on your email inboxes. Thank you.
UPDATE:
Time Warp’s doors will be closed for the next few weeks in accordance with Boulder’s stay at home order. However, we will still be able to ship comics to file holders and other interested parties. Our eBay store (https://www.ebay.com/usr/timewarp1) will also be operational. Call us at 303-443-4500 during the day, or send us an email at timewarp1@time-warp.com any time, and we’ll do our best to help you out as soon as possible. We will be down to a skeleton crew, so please be patient with us.
Given the weather and the virus, Time Warp will be closing early today, Friday the 20th. We’ll be open ’till 6 P.M.
