Mera: Tidebreaker

Danielle Paige, the New York Times best-selling author of Stealing Snow, comes a Mera and Aquaman origin story that explores Mera’s first steps on land, as well as her first steps as a hero or a villain, forcing her to choose to follow her heart or her mission to kill.

Mera is teenage royalty, heir to the throne of Xebel, the other not-so-lost colony under the sea, but Mera is destined to wear a different crown, that of Atlantis. When the inhabitants of Xebel plot to overthrow their homeland of Atlantis, Mera is sent to kill the heir to the throne, Arthur Curry. As the unrest between their colonies grows, Mera and Arthur unexpectedly fall in love… Will Arthur Curry be the king at Mera’s side in Atlantis or will he die under her blade?

Mera: Tidebreaker by Danielle Paige is an astonishing story that explores themes of duty, love, heroism, and freedom, all through the eyes of readers’ favorite undersea royalty. Mild delay in new comics this week 3/6/2019

Hey there Time Warp family, we wanted to keep you informed about the status of this week’s new comics.

Due to weather delays with our shipment from Diamond, we’re getting a late start on our work with new books this week. Books will be available on Wednesday, but we will likely have some more work to do in the morning–if it doesn’t inconvenience you, come in around lunchtime or later in the afternoon when we’re more likely to have finished up our essential work with the new books.

We’re sorry for the news, but we promise we’re doing our best to get everything set up for you all as soon as we possibly can! If you want to know what our status is before you make your trip to visit us on Wednesday, feel free to give us a call: 303-443-4500.

Thank you!

RIP Kris Sorant, 1973-2019

Today is a sad day. With great sadness and regret, I am informing the Time Warp family that long time employee, customer and friend Kris Sorant passed way unexpectedly this past Sunday, February 17th.
Kris was known here as “Back Issue Kris”, a name given him by “Matt”, a long time customer.
Kris worked so hard on our back issues, and was a fixture here for decades. He always strived to put the very best copies in our massive back issue bins.
While always in bad health it seemed, and despite all that he worked very hard and often spent long hours working after the store closed when everyone else went home for the night.
Whenever the rest of us were working Denver Comic Con, he ran the whole store all by himself for three days, a feat that always blew my mind.
He was also a very intelligent fellow, and could expound on any and all subjects. World class knowledge.
His favorite comic book characters were Spider-Man and the X-Men and he had a very comprehensive collection of those. His favorite musician was Buckethead!
If you’ve been shopping here at all in the last couple of decades, you’ve run in to him, I’m sure. If any of you have pictures to share, I would appreciate it. My phone wiped anything older than last year, and I can’t find one.
He will be greatly missed by all of us here at the store, and many former employees who worked with him.
He was only 46 years old. I don’t have any details yet. As I find out more details, I will post them here, or on our website Time-warp.com.
Memorial service details are forthcoming.
Whenever an employee, customer and friend passes away, it leaves a whole in my heart that never heals. Kris was all of these, and the world is a sadder place without him in it .
RIP, brother. We loved you!
